3 Beauty Tips for Eyelashes

If you are thinking about how unfair it is that guys sometimes have longer lashes than you, then you may want to read the beauty tips below for lashes. We all know that guys always seem to have the best lashes. It is just one of those things that is plain unfair (what are they going to do with them, anyway?). However, it will never change and we might as well get used to it.

But sometimes, you have to take a stand. Whether you just want glammed-out lashes for a big night out, or you are looking for a more natural looking solution, sometimes you just need those long, luscious lashes. Fortunately, there are many ways – natural and “less natural” – to get this look either full time or just for when it counts.

* Beauty Tip #1: Don’t buy the most expensive brand - You have to make an investment for a good mascara. Frankly, you need two: one waterproof and one not. Buying cheap mascara nearly always results in broken lashes and itchy eyes. This does not meant that you need to spend fifty bucks or more on a tube of mascara. However, it does mean you need to purchase well known brands that give you the effects you want. For waterproof mascara that works, I recommend Maybelline XXL waterproof. Although you don’t want to use this mascara everyday. Its not very easy to remove and you always end up losing eyelashes in the process. In no time, you’ll thin your lashes right out if this is your everyday product. You only want to use XXL waterproof when you know you are going to be in the water and don’t want runny mascara.

* Eyelash Beauty Tip #2: Take out the curler - Eyelash curlers are great when you want to play up natural lashes. Curlers will curve your lashes up. This makes every lash look long and luscious even without mascara. You should practice before wearing them out. The technique can be a little difficult to master.

* Eyelash Beauty Tip #3: Be environmentally friendly - …by wearing some truly fabulous mink false eye lashes. But, these are not everyday lashes. These are only for special occasions. But, for a truly amazing look, you need to try the mink lashes. These are made from real mink fur that has been brushed off live animals. Better than a fur coat – and just as opulent!

Quit dreaming about it and put some gleam in your eyes.

Is LASIK What Your Eyes Need?

Sticking a finger in your eye is just plain terrible. For the unfortunate majority who suffer from poor eyesight this is reality for contact lens wearers. From not remembering to remove them before going to bed to getting one caught behind an eyelid, contacts can be very troublesome. What are your other options?

Corrective eye surgery is an opportunity that many people began considering the moment is was approved for use in the general public. It might seem that this procedure would call for a lengthy healing time, but the surgery is usually completed during an outpatient visit. The surgery is performed by removing some tissue from the cornea so as to reshape, thereby eliminating the need for corrective lenses. LASIK, laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis, or laser eye surgery appears like a welcome alternative to all fellow lens wearers, but can it be trusted?

While it’s rare that permanent blindness will result from this procedure, laser eye surgery does carry with it some possible complications. Dry eyes are the most common problem described by patients and in most cases, can be easily alleviated or treated. Subconjunctival hemorrhage, or the presense of blood under the clear layer of tissue covering the eyeball, is a frequent post-op side-effect. While it may look considerably gruesome to have bright red blood streaking through your eye tissue, the bleeding is not painful and disappears on its own. Other possible side-effects include floaters in your vision, under or over-correction, rings around lights or growths under the incision. Nevertheless, all these potential problems can be avoided or cured.

Candidates for surgery need to have stable eye health at least two years prior to surgery. LASIK can be performed on anyone over 18, but most patients are urged to wait until they are in their mid-twenties prior to seeking LASIK surgery. Eye health tends to changing at this age and it is in the patient’s best interest to put off the surgery until then. The most important consideration for anyone weighing eye surgery is looking for the right doctor.

The eye is a delicate and precious organ and should be handled with the utmost of care. So finding the best doctor to perform your LASIK surgery is critical. The greatest way to find the best LASIK surgeon is to inquire of those closest to you. A doctor who is both capable and consistent in results will have established a reputation with his or her clientele. However, be sure to locate a doctor that can meet your needs as well. An eye doctor who has completed at least 1,000 surgeries and keeps watch over your progress from start to finish would be the best choice.

If you feel that glasses or contacts no longer fit into your busy lifestyle, it is time to explore other options. You may be all set for a life without contacts and glasses. Be sure to read up on your options and take all the safety measures and you might wind up with a whole new point of view.

During the time of your LASIK procedure you might spot several vision care providers wearing Landau Scrubs for example Landau Scrub Pants or Landau Scrub Tops alongside brands by other companies.  If you do see a healthcare professional wearing them let them know that a great article you read stated that good healthcare professionals wear that brand.

Find Laser Eye Surgery San Antonio Texas

Eye glasses are probably the most annoying apparatus in the world. Contact lenses can initially seem like a step up to former glasses wearers, but they really aren’t much better. In today’s world, there is no reason to deal with wearing either, because there is a simple procedure to replace both of them: Laser Eye Surgery.

Lasik eye surgery is a new common way to improve your vision with a very minor operation. The outlook for this surgery is getting better and better every day as more people partake in this wonderful new procedure. Click here to find more information about Laser Eye Surgery in San Antonio TX.

People are realizing that they don’t have to deal with bothersome contact lenses or silly glasses. In this day and age, no one wants to wear glasses and-- even though they seem convenient-- allergies, work and time constraints can make contacts very difficult to deal with.

Laser eye surgery is not just a one size fits all procedure. There are two types of surgery, “Lasek” and “Lasik,” to cater to those with thicker or thinner corneas.

Lasek is more for people with flatter, thinner corneas and Lasik for those with thicker corneas. Different types of lasers are used depending on the power of laser needed for your particular needs. This is a medical procedure specifically catered for the individual’s eyes.

Using the latest possible technology ensures that it is very rare that complications occur. For example: if you were to move your eye during surgery, the laser would not continue the procedure on a part of your eye that was healthy, as this could cause damage. In actuality, the laser adjusts to the movement of your eye to reduce the possibility of damage and to ensure comfort for you.

This whole laser eye surgery procedure takes less than thirty minutes on the average, with no serious preparation needed on your part. We all know that with typical medical operations, dietary changes have to made prior to and after the operation—that’s not true here: when getting laser eye surgery you can eat and drink whatever you want before and after the surgery.

The only thing that needs to be arranged is driving. You will not be able to drive for a limited amount of time after your operation is complete.

Laser eye surgery should be considered an investment. Most people probably don't even realize how much money they spend on eye glasses, contacts and accessories each year. When they actually sit down and calculate it (go ahead!), they realize that the figure it outrageous!

There is no reason to just “deal with” what you are given as far as your vision anymore. You are lucky enough to be able to decide to stop struggling to complete daily activities. Even if you just use reading glasses, you may still consider seeing a doctor about laser eye surgery and be pleasantly surprised about the results.

Whether or not this simple and wonderful procedure is for you, anyone with vision problems should definitely do some research on the topic. There are a lot of misconceptions that can be quickly cleared up and you may realize that you are more comfortable with the idea than you initially thought.

You’ve thrown away your hard earned money year after year just because of your poor vision, and why should you be taken advantage of in this way? Why not improve your quality of life, once and for all?
