Our eyes are usually compared to our muscles and specs are oftentimes compared to “crutches”. Some vision~eyesight “gurus” believe that by putting on glasses, you reduce the strength of your eye muscles and decay your vision~eyesight. Thus, they concluded, you have to perform eye exercises to “enhance” them.

However is that true?

Think about it. What’re the unhealthy eyesight habits that cause your vision to corrupt from the beginning? Staring and squinting in the dark causes your eye muscles to strain and tighten… if anything makes eyesight decay, it is not “weak eye muscles”, it’s strain!

The phrase “eye exercises” are really misleading. They’re in fact, more like “breathing exercises”. Eye exercises unwind your eye muscles, not strengthen them! They do that through practising proper vision habits and when you perform them frequently, you’ll subconsciously grasp the ideas behind them.

When you once again picked up appropriate eyesight habits, your eyes will readily see precisely again. Spectacles are bad not because it “impairs” your eye muscles… they’re bad because they did not let your eye muscles to unwind!
